Nothing to write about
This song has been stuck in my head for the past 2 weeks or so. It's not exactly mindblowing; it sounds like someone with a time machine abducted The Police and brought them back to the present day to record a song. And it really doesn't help that it features Agyness Deyn (who I have a schoolboy crush on, among others), who's better known for being a fashion model than a singer. And the video is just an excuse for her to pose and look model-y.
But damn if it isn't fucking catchy. And she's not as bad of a singer as I thought she'd be.

Pederstache
Well, that was short lived. I tried trimming my `stache into a John Waters/peder mustache, then realized how shitty it looked and ended up shaving it all off. Mustaches just weren't meant for Asians like me.
I went May's art show yesterday. I had fun, and the art was great. If you get a chance, ask May to show you some of her photos; they're really really good. I'd post photos from the night, but I forgot to put my memory card in my camera. Whoops.
The problem for me with being so close to the Christmas break is that I tend to lose motivation when I need it the most. "I'm a week away from the Christmas break, so I'm just going to pretend like it's already here and relax, even though I have a full week of final exams lined up".
I'm already trying to come up with a list of things I'm going to do during the break:
-start taking photos again
-try and get back into playing piano
Well, I didn't say I got far on the list.
Speaking of Christmas, don't expect anything from me for Christmas. The amount of money I have in my bank account is in the single digits. I don't have money to even buy materials to make people anything. That said, please don't get me anything for Christmas.

A day at Soundwave
I was bored today, so Matt told me to hang out at Soundwave Studios. He suggested that I do a photo documentary of a day at Soundwave. So here it is.

You can smoke indoors.
There's nowhere to throw your butts.

Anvil practice here.

You think John stuck these up his ass too?
Irony: That Soundwave subscribes to a magazine called Profit.
Ramy wants to set the place on fire. Seriously.
"Hey, check out what these magnetized speakers do to the screen!"

I stupidly threw a lit cigarette up there, where there's exposed insulation, so Ramy had to go put it out.
The Soundwave logic: if one peg is missing and makes the speaker wobble, break the remaining three off to make it even.
Arson.
More arson.

The fire stank so bad, Matt went overboard with the air freshener.
Then he smashed some plastic ice cube trays that the bitchy cokehead bartender brought them.

Whiskers
My parents came back yesterday. I got worried that they were trapped in Thailand because of the anti-government protests. They brought me back some really random gifts. I think the older my parents get, the more random they get.
Everything feels normal now, so that's good. I was really starting to turn into a pile, so I'm glad I have them to keep me in check.
In other news, I'm growing out my mustache. What makes this different from all the other attempts I've made? Nothing really. Let's see how long this one will last for.
